Day 9 FRIDAY August 18th,
2000
We are up at 4:30 am and it is too early. We pack the bus, and police
the grounds to make sure everything is clean. We then load the bus
and we begin to make our way out of the village. We pray for our
friend Martin on the way pastor his house and HE IS AWAKE! He comes
out and we pray for him on the bus. Pastor Tencho comes down the road
and says goodbye to us. We have him pray over our trip home and then
we pull out to the highway. We get to the border at 6:30 am and drive
up to the gate. Our border guard jumps on the bus and asks us many
questions about why we are here. He is a Christian and lets us pass
by WITHOUT a check. He doesn't bring the dogs on the bus or look at
our cargo. PRAISE THE LORD, that was a first for STORM ministries. We
are all so tired, so we sleep on the bus. We are making our way to
Knots berry farm.

We fall asleep on the bus and drive till 3 am to a Texaco station called Harris Ranch. This is in California. We put our sleeping bags out on the lawn and fall asleep under the stars.
